AATSP- Poster Contest 2020

 ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! Feliz Ano Novo! 

We are happy to announce the AATSP Poster Contest, which is open to K-12. If you are not an AATSP member you can participate. However, if one of your students wins the contest and goes to the national contest, you will need to be an AATSP member. We would like to encourage you to promote this activity and give this great opportunity to your students.

The theme for this year is:

Español y Portugués para un mundo multilingüe y multicultural

Espanhol e Português para um mundo multilíngue e multicultural

The 2020 Poster Contest information is attached. There are two documents, the entry requirements, and the student information form. The deadline for our chapter to send the posters is Wednesday, March 11th.

Cemanahuac Scholarship Recipient

We are excited to announce that Sarah Combs, a teacher from Parkersburg, W.V., has been selected as the 2019 WVFLTA recipient of the Cemanahuac Education Community school scholarship. Sarah has demonstrated a high level of interest and motivation for the course of study at Cemanahuac and will attend two weeks of language study there.


Congratulations Sarah! We look forward to hearing about your experience and its impact on your students at WVFLTA 2019 in Wheeling October 18th and 19th.
